The weather in this area of ​​Belize it is tropical, and the air is thick most of the year, it is usually warm and humid. In this area of Belize there are two stations that are well marked, the first station is dry season that appears in January and ends in May and another short period from August to September. The second season is the rainy season that appears in the months of June to July and from October to November.

The best season to visit the great blue hole is between November and May because the temperature is more pleasant also between June and November the hurricane season occurs in the area and it is better to avoid the area in that season if you want to enjoy the place.

  Mountain Pine Reach Forest Reserve The Mountain Pine Reach Forest Reserve is one of the great natural attractions of Belize. It was the first reserve created in the country with the intention of protecting native forests and ecosystems. Created in 1944, the Pine Ridge Mountain Forest Reserve is the oldest and most protected area in Belize, it is located in the Cayo District, 57 km from Belize City.
